  • Overview

    The project manager is responsible for managing assigned projects from Idea to Post Launch. The Project Manager will organize all necessary details throughout the project while generating cross functional collaboration to successfully execute projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project success
    • Holding the team responsible for time commitments as identified in the published schedule at kickoff.
    • Organizing the scope, schedule and cost of each project.
    • Create project schedules, edit as necessary, audio/visual support in team project meetings, maintain notes/next steps and assigned actions & publish to the group in a timely manner.
    • Communicating all tasks and deadlines to stakeholders involved in the project.
    • Execute MS Project, Sharepoint and Outlook tasks as assigned by manager.
    • Identifying all necessary deliverables, ensuring they are complete and presenting for gate advancement.
    • Managing project tasks to achieve designated milestones and timelines
    • Documenting lessons learned and incorporating findings into future projects. Maintain Lessons Learned log.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES ·         

     

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in interacting and communication with a wide range of individuals cross functionally.
    • Excellent time management, task prioritization and organizational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and coordinating the activities of various resource pools (cross-regional, off site sales personnel and internal team members).
    • Research abilities, to learn tools and existing procedures independently.
    • Excellent communication with project teams and management to ensure alignment.
    • Proficient with MS Project and other MS Office Applications.

     

     EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 2-3 years of equivalent work experience.
    • Food product development and/or commercialization experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of Stage Gate processes
